PAUL HARRIS BIO

Paul Harris, MLA, LEED AP, has been a practicing designer for over thirty years. His energy and innovation built over years of experience (as product designer, landscape architect, sculptor and furniture maker), at Harvard University and while living in Japan and Holland, add depth and character to ordinary projects to make them truly exceptional.

Paul Harris Associates (formerly Imagine Sonoma) was founded in 1995 with a commitment to respond thoughtfully and creatively to how we believe life ought to be; to provide top-notch professional service to our clients; to take excellent care of our employees as valuable partners in this pursuit; and to promote the health of our natural environment. His work blends together diverse ideas and materials to create exquisite spaces that are functional, peaceful, provocative, spiritual, artistic and fun. Built projects include high-density housing, public facilities and parks, mixed-use urban infill projects and estate properties in California and Arizona. As owner of Paul Harris Associates, Mr. Harris developed expertise in sustainable design, innovative urban storm-water management design, on-structure landscaping, custom furniture design and water features.
